We were doing everything manually, writing paper tickets, routing jobs by looking at a paper map, calling our service guys to give them information on new jobs that had come in, etc… for all of our trucks previously, which now looking back was a lot of time and effort that was unnecessary.
All of our trucks now have Tablets where everything is sent electronically, saving time for not only our service guys but the office as well!
The transition went very smoothly. Teaching our technicians and office staff how to use the program went a lot better than expected because of just how user friendly this program is. One of our favorite features about Tank Track is the ability to route the trucks through the system. No more pulling out that worn out paper map THANK GOD! It is a very convenient and easy task nowadays. Another thing we loved about this program is how customizable it is!
Payments are processed by the technicians while at the customers house through this program, which we have gotten a lot of positive feedback from.
All in all, this is a great program, which is specifically designed for septic companies!

After working as an employee for 10 years, in 2022 I became the owner of Northland Pumping in Anchorage, Alaska and I needed to reimagine how to run the business from the cab of my pump truck.

Tank Track has taken us up a notch with our customer service and record keeping. It makes our invoicing much more professional, we are able to offer service reminders to our clients with the click of a button. No more do we have to have post cards printed, and pay postage, it is all done via email. Our drivers really love the work orders with all of the property info so they know what they are getting into going to their next job. All in all this program is making our jobs easier with more information than we ever knew we needed.

I am a one man band as I answer the phone, schedule the job, pump the poop, do the reporting and move on to the next job. Tank Track and their scheduling process makes it simple to route yourself, track completions and reduce your overall day. A win win in my eyes.

Service due reminders can be auto generated and emailed out. Data collection and reporting simplified things to a point that month end wasn’t the headache it had always been. Year end is even easier now too. Report generation is finite and simple at the same time. Pick the data you’re looking for and there it is, per dump, per day, per week, etc.
Concerned about past due invoices? These can be auto emailed as well, but the power is in the near real time report generation. For example, you’ve had the job where thought you hadn’t gotten paid yet for the last pumping, now grab your phone and check it out.
Should you have an issue you can count on tech support being there no matter the time of day you put in a help ticket. Tickets are responded to virtually immediately in my experience, I’ve received more than one call directly from the owner late at night should an issue arise.
Long story short in my eyes, this is the best software package out there that will support you wherever your business is headed.

Tank Track is to our septic company as money is to a bank. I used to spend a month getting all reporting done for each resident. Now it is done in a day. We were audited by the State of Wisconsin DNR and we passed with flying colors. I have put this program to use in our business and I have never looked back. Next step is to equip each truck with a computer and mobile printer. They can make changes to properties, make notes on the account as well as each pump ticket, and the customers love the small receipt with a return envelope for payment. One of the most helpful tools we use is “batch email” for accounts receivable. Instead of sending out 1000s of emails asking for payment, one click sends an email to every customer with an outstanding balance.
